Martineau,

Catherine comes
to Canopy with an extensive professional experience in both the
financial industry and management consulting, along with personal
interests in community service, education and the environment. A
native of France, Catherine started her career in Paris with the
BNP Group. She moved to the United States in 1986 and joined BNP
Venture Capital as an Associate. She and her husband subsequently
created Martineau & Associates in 1991, a management consulting
practice specializing in new initiatives.
She holds a doctoral degree (ABD) in Economic theory (1981), a master's
degree in mathematical economics (1979) and a BA in international
economics (1977) from the University of Paris. |

Sharon has been a "plant person" since her first job at Nurseryland in Fountain Valley, California. Now a veteran member of California's urban forest network, Sharon emphasizes the value of engaging the community in the creation and preservation of a healthy, successful and sustainable environment. As Tree Fresno's Projects Director she was responsible for all programs, plantings and maintenance at schools, parks and along city streets. She most enjoys the educational outreach aspects of her urban forestry work. Sharon received her Bachelor of Science in Botany from University of Maine and has worked as a horticulturist, field botanist, restoration biologist and environmental programs manager.
Anwyn joins Canopy with over a decade of experience in cause-related communications and public relations. She served as a communications liasion for humanitarian agency Oxfam for seven years, coordinating PR efforts in her native Africa, Europe and throughout the Americas. She subsequently managed cause-related marketing initiatives for Cone Inc. in Boston and Washington D.C., building corporate/nonprofit partnerships. In addition, she led D.C. based Direct Impact Company's creative work for grassroots marketing initiatves. Anwyn holds a Degree in Anthropology from Boston University as well as advanced creative training from The Corcoran College of Art and Design.
