Join us and the Bubb community on Saturday, August 1st from 9:00 am - 11:00 am at Bubb Elementary School to continue our stewardship of the newly planted trees. With support from local nonprofit Canopy and the City of Mountain View, volunteers, staff, and families will be mulching the new tree grove to retain soil moisture, keep roots cool in summer and warm in winter, suppress weeds, protect against mower damage, and slowly add nutrients to the tree as it naturally breaks down. This is a youth-friendly education activity, too! See you there.
